Welcome to the new Northern Gas @ Woodstream Blog everyone! I hope you all use it and enjoy it. As you all know, the 2009 camping season is about to begin. I set this up for our "Northern Gas" family of friends in order to catch up on things, get information about camping, post pictures, just say hi, ... and of course, trash talking opposing bocce ball teams. Just think of it as a "Facebook for Woodstream". Ok, .... I'll start by saying that there's no way those Goat Flockers will win this year!! The Dream Team is long overdue. Also, there will be a couple new sets of balls coming out this season. The orange and black "Halloween Balls", (you've got to be scary-good to play them) and possibly an orange and red set, which, of course will be called "The Great Balls of Fire". I think I know which team will want to use those. Linda and I will be heading down for our first camping trip of the year on May 13th. for the long weekend. Hopefully we get some good weather. .......... Ok then, let's hear from everyone!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, John. Well, Doug and I won't be going camping on the May long weekend. I'll be in NYC for the "women's" weekend - shopping, plays, restaurants, museums, sightseeing - oh, and did I mention shopping? Doug plans to be in Canada that weekend, but says he won't be camping. That's surprising considering how much he loves setting up the trailer! Hope everyone that goes has fun. We'll be there for sure in August. It's sunny in Iowa today -- feels good after having snow just a week ago. Take care....Laurie.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea John !!! Of course the Goat Flockers won't win this year because it is time for the Christmas team to reclaim the title that we have so graciously loaned to other teams recently. Can't wait to see everyone there.

ReplyDeleteWe are sooo excited to come camping this year...we even took off the next week to recoup!!! haha. Thanks to everyone for all the fun each year and to have something to look forward to each August long weekend. Dylan and I will now be able to celebrate our Anniversary @ Woodstream. Can't wait.
